Later, begin your scenic drive towards Punakha via the picturesque Dochula Pass (3,100 m). On a clear day, enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges and stop at Dochula Viewpoint & Druk Wangyal Chortens for photographs.
Upon arrival in Punakha, visit key attractions such as:

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Chimi Lhakhang, the famous fertility temple located amidst beautiful paddy fields near Punakha.
Later, proceed towards Paro, enjoying a scenic drive through valleys and mountain roads. En route, halt at Simtokha Dzong, the oldest dzong in Bhutan, known for its historical importance and intricate architecture.
Continue your journey to Paro, covering on-the-way sightseeing points as time permits. If time allows, make a stop at Paro Rinpung Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most iconic fortresses, offering stunning views of the Paro Valley.

Morning: Choose Your Adventure
Begin your day early with one of the two breathtaking experiences: - Tiger’s Nest Trek (Paro Taktsang): A 4–5 hour trek to Bhutan’s most iconic monastery, perched on a cliff at 3,120m, offering spiritual and scenic beauty. - Chelela Pass Excursion: A drive to Bhutan’s highest motorable pass (3,988m) with stunning Himalayan views and peaceful hiking trails.
Afternoon: Optional Visit & Return to Phuentsholing
If time allows, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples, symbolizing Buddhism’s deep roots in the country.
After sightseeing, embark on a 5–6 hour drive back to Phuentsholing, and from there transfer to Hasimara, the Triptrova’s resort.
